General Statement Kibbutz Lotan believes in equal opportunities in the online space for people with diverse disabilities and/or those who use assistive technologies. We work diligently to make information accessible both on our website and within the physical space of the Kibbutz.

Website Accessibility This website has been built in accordance with the accessibility guidelines at level AA, as detailed in the WCAG 2.0 (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines). A "Sogo Accessibility" plugin has been installed. The site is optimized for display on common browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Explorer 11+) and for use on mobile phones (Android and iPhone).

Keyboard Navigation

• To move between links on the site, press the TAB key.

• To navigate backward, press SHIFT + TAB.

• Accessibility Toolbar: Font size enlargement, contrast and color changes, and stopping movement/animations can be controlled via the accessibility toolbar on the site.

Adjustments Made to the Website

• Strict attention has been paid to main and sub-headings to facilitate reading and orientation.

• Alternative text (Alt Text) has been added to images to ensure a good user experience for screen reader users.

• A WordPress plugin has been installed to allow control over font size, color contrast, blocking animations, and highlighting links.

• Strict accessibility adjustments have been made, including semantic and informative implementation for assistive technologies.

• Keyboard-only navigation and operation have been set according to W3C international standards.

• For the best browsing experience with screen reader software, we recommend using the latest version of NVDA.

Physical Accessibility (The Place) Kibbutz Lotan has made accessibility adjustments to public spaces, guest rooms, and the dining hall as follows:

• Dining Hall: Designated disabled parking is available near the dining hall, with an accessible and marked access path nearby. Inside the dining hall, there are accessible restrooms and appropriate signage.

• Guest Rooms: We offer an accessible guest apartment that meets accessibility standards. The apartment is adjacent to the reception, which also has an accessible entrance. Two marked disabled parking spots are located next to the accessible apartment.

• Eco-Kef (Eco-Fun) Area: Includes marked disabled parking and accessible public restrooms.
