Intensive Green Apprenticeship Program

• Training Program: 2 Jan 2012 to 16 Feb 2012

In our work/study sustainable design & management program, participants gain both practical skills and theoretical knowledge in alternative building, organic gardening, and community planning. Participants learn how to understand and create alternative solutions for the issues facing the modern world.

5-month Comprehensive Green Apprenticeship

• MASA Affiliated: 27 Feb to 27 Jul 2012

Includes the elements of the Intensive program and weaves in Hebrew, Israeli culture and history, educational trips around the country, and more. MASA grants are available for eligible participants.

 4-month Peace, Justice and the Environment University Semester

• August – December 2012

Unconventional study abroad experience, in partnership with the organization Living Routes. Courses include sustainable ecological design and building, organic gardening, peace building and social justice, and group dynamics. Hands-on work and experience in all areas, both onsite at Kibbutz Lotan and in other communities throughout Israel. Awards 16 college credits and MASA grants are available for eligible participants.
